Favre once attempted to trademark the phrase “Black Friday.” Other unsuccessful trademark attempts include the phrases “Relentless egomaniac,” “You’re a chimp, chump, not a champ,” “Favre fever vaccine,” and “That’s what she said.”  He also filed a trademark application for “that sign where there’s the letter D and a fence.  Like a picket fence.  You know what I mean.” 

Following the conclusion of Favre’s disastrous season with the NY Jets, he tried to trademark the number 4. He’s still waiting for the results.
